What i did for Ballet....

I just came back from Arcimboldi Theatre in Milan where Dance Machine dance competition took place.
I was there as a judge with other collegues of mine (Jean Claude Coappara, Urtzi Aranburu, Theresa Ruth Howard, Elisa Guzzo Vaccarino, Daniele Marcacci Ambrosoli e Alfio Agostini).
Today there was also my student and friend Kledi Kadiu who was showing a promo of his tv program "Step Passi di Danza" broadcasted on Rai 5.
One of those episode is linked to the famous italian ballet critic Vittoria Ottolenghi; the interview Kledi did to her made me remember all the sacrifices i've done for ballet.
The episode is about Vittoria Ottolenghi's summer  tv program "Maratona d'Estate" broadcasterd by Rai during the '70.
Imagin to be in Albania at the end of the '70...the only way to receive information about world was italian television but due to communist era the government had closed all the tv broadcasting.
The only way to see italian television was to go near the seaside , where the signal could have been reached, but i lived in Tirana and...
I took my old bike, put on it a rare 12'' black and white german television (I was one of a few lucky people to possess it) and pedaled for 40 kilometers to go from Tirana to Durres to a friend's place who was living there.
I started to take notes (there were no videotape at that time) and tryed to write everything I heard about the history of ballet. It was only 30 minute program.
While i was writing the pain of my leg was big and it was almost time to go back home with my old bike.
Once i got home i was tired and weak but happy because my thirst of knowledge about what was happening "out there" was huge...but aboveall my love for dance was so strong!
My ballet teacher asked me if i wanted to hold lessons about what i learned whatching "Maratona D'Estate"...but i didn't accept...i didn't feel ready to teach...but now everything is different.

Daily Open Class

Dear All, this is my first post.
Today, I want to talk about my daily Open Class. This class is for those how want to train hard every day and to be always prepared for their job.
Since 1998, I run this class everyday (from Monday to Friday 12.30/14.00) and it gives me a lot of satisfaction; every day I meet new people from all over the word. A class where people can compare their opinion. An extraordinary experience.
Have a look at these videos.
